Administrative: The Director and Clinical Program Director of Milestone have over 30 years of combined experience overseeing programs in Maine designed to meet the needs of the indigent substance abusing population. Milestone and some of the other programs have been and continue to be primary training sites for clinicians obtaining the necessary experience to become licensed in Maine.
Medical: Medical doctors oversee all of Milestone's programs. Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses provide twenty-four hour nursing coverage in the detoxification and emergency shelter programs. Certified Nurse Aides assist the nurses in client care.
Clinical: All of Milestone's counseling staff are licensed or registered in the State of Maine as professionals who provide clients with the direction and motivation to continue the gains made toward sobriety that have been achieved while participating in Milestone's programs.
Personal Care: All of Milestone's staff that provide personal care services are certified in a variety of health care activities, such as cardio-pulminary resuscitation, first aid, control of contagious and infections diseases and, above all, the safety of the clients that they oversee.
